Why the Dog Theme?

I'm a huge animal person and for me it was a no-brainer to combine my love of animals and editing and name my business Ruff Cut. My logo was inspired by my black lab Betty who was my childhood dog, and very special to me. The dog on the right is my current fluffy assistant Harvey the Schnauzer. You may spot him in other places as you explore my site.

Meet the Editor

Hi there, I'm Lauren Sailer, the person behind the screen and founder of Ruff Cut Edits. I've loved editing since I was little and found my passion in making videos with my friends and family. Over the years I captured, edited and saved every silly idea and fun skit we could come up with, developing my editing skills along the way. A lot of my original ''crew'' are in college or beyond now and have moved on but my passion never left. Now I continue that passion through my business and hope I can bring it your project.
